My first blog post, this is exciting!
So who am I, what is this blog all about, and what am I doing here? These are all great questions that might come into your mind.
I have been thinking for a while now, and had the inner wish to share things with people. As I have a lot to share: thoughts, deep and surface level; Art that I do and complete, food that I cook, daily adventures of our family that consists of us three - my husband, our doggy Zizi and me; There's so much to share but no one to share it to except quietly in our home. I know I am not alone living in this quiet type of rhythm, and I thought wait, if I get to know some people just like this? Wouldn't hurt if I do this. So I am doing it.
We live in a world which is fast, full of hurry and stress, running and completing tasks from morning to late night without taking even a long calm breather. I hope to find those who seek to enjoy life or already do in a similar way that I do, I hope to inspire, to talk and meet. I absolutely happy to share my life. But I came to a conclusion that social media is not the way to go. Everything became dead. At least for me personally. It's so stagnant. All I see is posts on social media platforms that are made by computers, a lot of ads to buy this and that, and zero interaction with people. But at the same time I understand this is my personal experience, and I am very well aware how my life is: with a very few people around. And I am very grateful for them.
At the same time, I sometimes crave sharing, I crave interaction, cheering someone on, being happy for the nice day they had. Being supportive when things don't go easy. Genuine interactions. These became so rare in this age of information and technology that I am not surprised how little of interaction a lot of people have that is real and authentic. Me included. A simple: hey, I cooked this today, look, how cool is that. Or hey, look what a cool plant I've spotted today; hey, my day was awesome today! My lifestyle is introverted, with a strict routine and discipline, focused on family and art. But I see no walls in me enjoying and sharing more of life with others. And I hope this is what this blog will bring.
This will be a cool space to share my life. To share where I went on a walk or what a random thought I had at 6 am. To share my Garage Kits and Figures that I paint here, to show you my results and tell you how it turned out.
I hope this cool thing called internet will connect me with all kinds of people around the world. Similar to me, different from me, who just want to share and connect.
I am very excited for this journey.
